SELECT GOLD is a complete feed (no additional feeding necessary). Divide the daily ration for Kitten into at least 3-4 portions. Please feed wet food at room temperature. Always provide fresh drinking water for your cat. The information on feeding is only ever a recommendation. Actual requirements depend on a large number of factors such as the activity level of your cat.

When switching foods, take care to replace the old food with SELECT GOLD gradually (over the course of approx. one week). In this way, you ensure optimum tolerance and acceptance during the transitional period.

The SELECT GOLD nutritional concept is tailored to meet the individual needs of your cat. The wet and dry food formulations are also ideally compatible with each other. This is the optimal prerequisite for mixed feeding.

With mixed feeding, your cat's daily nutrition includes both dry and wet feed from SELECT GOLD as separate meals. Your cat will benefit from all the advantages of the different kinds of feed and will also enjoy the variety. If it is necessary to switch feeds (e.g. for health reasons), your cat is already used to eating different kinds of food. We recommend feeding at different times due to the difference in digestion times between dry and wet foods.

Start with the amount of wet food you would like to feed as a basis. For example, if you want to feed your adult cat a total of 170 g SELECT GOLD Acceptance wet feed (two 85 g fresh pouches) per day, the amount of dry food is calculated as follows:



The recommended daily ration for an adult cat weighing 5 kg is 255 g. This means that 170 g of wet food represents approx. 67% of her daily ration. As a result, you have to cover 33% of her daily ration with dry food. The recommended daily ration for SELECT GOLD Acceptance dry food is 60 g, i.e. feed an additional 20 g (approx.) in dry food per day.
